Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Julie, though I have been called Jay or Jewels by some people. I'm an author/editor with dreams of writing the next big novel (original, I know), and I'm also an avid reader, which I'm sure comes as a huge surprise to those reading this. I welcome any and all book recommendations, so feel free to leave a comment with the title and author name of any book(s) you want me to check out!

The content for this blog will likely focus on my personal and professional journey. I may occasionally post snippets of my writing or pictures that I've taken of my pets and other things, though, so don't be surprised if the overall content seems a little scattered. If I try to follow too strict of a posting schedule, I'll end up not posting at all.
